Cyanobacteria
Cyanobacteria (Graecae κυανός 'caeruleus'[4][5]), etiam Cyanophyta appellata, sunt phylum bacteriorum quae energiam per photosynthesin faciunt[6] et sunt sola prokaryota photosynthetica quae oxygenium facere possunt.[7] Itaque creduntur priscae atmosphaerae compositionem mutasse et oxygenio cumulando pluricellularibus organismis viam stravisse[8].
