Lieutenant Duke DeTain is a police lieutenant in the city’s Police Department.

Officer Duke Detain is LEGO City's top cop. He lives life in the fast lane, protecting the innocent and looking really cool while doing it, but causing millions of dollars in damage!

Childhood

Duke as a child

Duke DeTain was born to unnamed parents. As a child, he had an imaginary friend who was a Cubby the Cop toy. His love for Cubby was the start of his enthusiasm and willingness to become a cop.

The young Duke had many police-related merchandise, from simple Cubby the Cop toys to a toy, police car that he can drive around with, also the birth of his dangerously efficient driving. Every peaceful time in his small family’s apartment could only mean for a grand opening of little Duke’s antics, and his parents know that well.

Personality

Duke Detain is a policeman who is very passionate about his job and takes it very seriously as he works hard to catch robbers and keep the city safe. He is friendly and kind with everyone and takes his position as a good role model to kids seriously. He is also friendly to criminals, such as Daisy, Hank or Betty when they're not committing crimes.
