History
Hadithi's Royal Mud Print Ceremony
Hadithi? The legendary eagle? Every bird in the Pride Lands has heard of him!Ono
When Hadithi, a legendary eagle, visited the Pride Lands, many birds gathered to listen to him. Shortly into the gathering, Simba and Nala approached Hadithi and invited him to attend a Royal Mud Print Ceremony in his honor. Simba explained that it was tradition for the honored hero to mentor a younger Pride Lander and, per Kion's suggestion, nominated Ono for the position. Hadithi accepted the mentorship and requested that a ceremonial nest be built in his honor for the ceremony. Ono volunteered the Lion Guard for the task, and Kion acquiesced.
As the day went on, Hadithi made several speeches to the Pride Landers. Eventually, Ono asked if Hadithi would teach him how to perform his famous Hadithi Spin, but Hadithi claimed that he did not want to "ruffle his feathers" before the Royal Mud Print Ceremony. He instead offered to watch Ono attempt the feat. Ono spent much of the day trying to perform the Hadithi Spin but continually failed. Before long, he realized that Hadithi was not even watching, and Hadithi remarked that he doubted Ono would ever be able to perform the feat.
Together, Hadithi and Ono departed for Pride Rock to attend Hadithi's Royal Mud Print Ceremony. Along the way, Ono noticed Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu attacking some klipspringers, but Hadithi refused to help them and continued on to Pride Rock alone. During his ceremony, however, he confessed his cowardice to the crowd, and the Lion Guard rushed off to help Ono defend the klipspringers.
Once at the scene of the attack, the Lion Guard defended the klipspringers from the hyenas. Hadithi and Ono then worked together to fly around the hyenas, making them dizzy to the point that they fell off a bridge into a river. That night, Ono was honored with the Royal Mud Print Ceremony instead, and Hadithi announced him as the creator of the Ono Spin.[1]
Pride Lander birds' attack on Mzingo's parliament
I know somebody who can fly really high. Her name's Anga.Beshte
When mysterious fiery sticks began raining on the Pride Lands, Ono attempted to pinpoint the source of the attack but had to turn back due to the high altitude. Beshte suggested that the Lion Guard recruit Anga for help, and Ono commented that martial eagles could fly quite high.
Together, the Lion Guard approached Anga and asked for her assistance, and she agreed to help them. Just then, another attack began, and Anga flew high enough to discover that Mzingo and his parliament were responsible. She started to attack them, but when they retreated to the Outlands, she turned back and reported what she had seen to the Lion Guard.
Upon hearing Anga's report, Kion resolved to gather the Pride Lander birds for a retaliatory attack, and Ono suggested that they ask Hadithi for help. Along with Anga, he visited Hadithi and asked for his help in gathering the Pride Lander birds for battle. Hadithi agreed to the task and led the Pride Lander birds to the Lion Guard so that they could plan their next move.
At that moment, the vultures began dropping fiery sticks on the Maumivu Thorn Patch, and Hadithi rallied his followers to stop them. During the ensuing battle, Hadithi got wounded, and Ono was forced to helm the attack in his stead. With Anga's help, he guided the Pride Lander birds in rounding up Mzingo's parliament so that Kion could blast them away with the Roar of the Elders. After the attack, Kion thanked the Pride Lander birds for their help.[2]
Battle for the Pride Lands

Over the seasons, Anga assisted the Lion Guard in defending the Pride Lands from the Army of Scar. Eventually, Simba resolved to invade the Outlands, and many Pride Landers, including Hadithi, gathered at Pride Rock to train for the upcoming battle.
That night, the Army of Scar set fire to Pride Rock, trapping the royal family on the promontory. After catching wind of the situation from Ono, Anga and Hadithi convened with the royal family and carried them to safety in their talons. No sooner was the royal family safe when Scar manifested in the fire and threatened the Pride Landers. Once Scar had disappeared, Simba informed his subjects that they would invade the Outlands the next day.
Come morning, the Pride Landers invaded the Outlands. During the battle, Anga and Hadithi worked together to defeat Mzingo's parliament. Eventually, the Pride Landers defeated Scar's army, and Kion vanquished Scar's spirit. Despite the Pride Landers' victory, Kion and Ono sustained serious injuries from the battle, and Kion recruited Anga to take Ono's place as the keenest of sight on the Lion Guard.[3]

While the Lion Guard was traveling through the mountains en route to the Tree of Life, Anga attempted to ask Yuki's troop for directions, only for them to throw objects at her in fright. Shortly afterward, Kion used the Roar of the Elders on the mountain and inadvertently caused an avalanche. The Lion Guard worked together to save the snow monkeys, while Anga carried Makini and Ono to safety so as not to frighten the troop.
After the rescue, the snow monkeys continued to react fearfully to Anga's presence, so Kion assured them that she was nice. He then offered to find them a new home, as he had destroyed their former home with the Roar. In order to prove Anga's goodwill, he tasked her with locating a new hot spring for the snow monkeys, and she soon found one, though she cautioned Kion that it was out of the Lion Guard's way and surrounded by trees. Nonetheless, Kion insisted on helping the snow monkeys, and Anga led the troop to the hot spring.
While at the hot spring, the snow monkeys got swarmed by flying squirrels and fled in fear, as they believed the squirrels to be large birds. In running away, the snow monkeys got trapped in a tree well, and Fuli ordered Anga to lift them out. Though at first reluctant to trust Anga, the snow monkeys eventually agreed to the plan, and Anga carried them to safety. She then located a new home for the troop and played with Kimyo and Nabasu in the hot spring.[4]
Battle of the Lion Guards

During the Battle of the Lion Guards, Tazama challenged Anga to find Laini in the dark. Anga ultimately failed the competition, as she did not have good night vision. At the end of all the contests, Vitani and her self-formed Lion Guard became the new protectors of the Pride Lands, while Kion and his Lion Guard joined the Night Pride.[5]
Physical characteristics
An eagle is a large bird of prey. Some eagles, like Hadithi, sport brown feathers and speckled white chests, while martial eagles sport purple feathers with navy blue wing tips, navy blue tail tips, and navy blue crests. Eagles have sharp talons and beaks as well as wide wingspans. They can have black or blue eyes.[2]

Eagles are known to prey on snow monkeys.[4] Martial eagles can fly at incredibly high altitudes.[2] They have acute vision, though their night vision is weaker.[5]
