Hello,
Vector 2022 is almost done. We (the Web team building the interface) are
intensifying our discussions with the communities, and asking what should
be improved, so that Vector 2022 could become the default skin across all
wikis. Regular meetings with the team for the communities are part of this
communication.
I'd like to invite you individually to all the future events. These take
place every other Tuesday at the same hours (12:00 and 19:00 UTC). Of
course you'll be free to accept all or only selected invitations.
If you accept any invitation, I (or Isabel, CC'ed) will:
1. Give you the links to wiki pages containing the invitation to the office
hours (example[1])
2. Ask you to share the invitation with your community (I'd be particularly
grateful for sharing the invitation on social media, wherever people really
are)
3. (If you're comfortable with that) Ask you to translate (between English
and your language) questions the attendees from your community may have.
Regarding #3, I'm trying to provide live translators' support, but it's not
certain if they could help us, what languages would be covered, and when
exactly they would be available.
I'll be immensely grateful for any help.
Thank you!

Hello,
This Monday, June 13th at 12:00 UTC and 19:00 UTC, the Web team at the
Wikimedia Foundation will be hosting a meeting about Desktop Improvements
(Vector 2022). See more details.[1]
Please feel invited and invite other editors as well.
Why are these meetings important? As I wrote in the newest Tech News, "By
the end of July, the Vector 2022 skin should be ready to become the default
across all wikis. Discussions on how to adjust it to the communities' needs
will begin in the next weeks. It will always be possible to revert to the
previous version on an individual basis. Learn more.[2]"
We want you and the communities to be fully aware and to make decisions
related to Vector 2022. On Monday, we'll be talking about the visual design
(= aesthetic) changes to Vector 2022. We've published the slides as a
teaser to the discussion.[3] You may want to use it as a teaser when
inviting others.
See you on Monday,

On behalf of the 2022 Wikimedia Hackathon Committee, we would like to
thank you for coming to the Wikimedia Hackathon!
Please consider giving us feedback on the Hackathon and your
suggestions for improvement.
There are two ways to give feedback:
1. Fill out the Wikimedia Hackathon Survey
<https://wikimedia.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cGbCKj4xyP0H3wi>. For
more information on privacy and data-handling, see the survey privacy
statement <https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Hackathon_Post-Event_Survey…
>. The survey will remain open until May 29, 2022.
2. If you would like to share feedback but do not wish to take the
Qualtrics survey, you can leave feedback on
the Etherpad <https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/Wikimedia_Hackathon_2022_Feedback
>.
Finally, check out
the badges <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Hackathon_2022/How_to#Joining_a_se…
> the committee made. You can put them on your userpages to show your
participation.
Thank you again for joining us! It was so much fun to meet everyone and
hack together.
See you at the Wikimania Hackathon in August!
Haley, on behalf of the
