Martin Heldayeti (known by her birth name Martin Larasati Jr. (following to the name of her mother), familiarly nicknamed Princess Martin) is one of the protagonists in the Luna the Miracle Boy series who was the female student of the French-stylized university – Seborga High School, which she had joined as a member of the Seborga High Shadowbolts.
True to her nickname, Martin is commonly a female given name. She is Luna's dear girlfriend who is depicted as a sergeant-drill-style creative girl and also known as the girl who extremely loves Luna and has a big opportunity to marry him as her husband in the future. With her appreciation for Luna on his bravery and intelligence, Martin is now the female student of Canterlot Presidential University. She enjoys listening to romantic kinds of music on her headphones and also asks Luna to help her with his intelligence.
In membership of the Petrovburg Heroes, Martin is one of the Equestria Girls personnel along with Celestia, Dennis, and Tobias. She represents the element of forgiveness which her cutie mark has consisted of a circle with the citrus rays inside – called "The Lemon Zest". She is focused on her friends' performance to help them win but doesn't care very much about connecting on a personal level.

In this first story episode – during the Vernadsky Saturday Night, a girl who looks exactly like Martin (wears the Vernadia duchess outfit) joins Luna and his friends of the Petrovburg Heroes to dance together in the Canterlot Presidential auditorium.
She later meets Luna as she bumps on him, and First Lady Camilla pronounces her as Luna's personal assistant. The Vernadsky house assistant teases Luna that he got a crush on a beautiful girlfriend like Martin, and the Vernadsky house guard informs Luna that Martin will become his wife.

Luna the Miracle Boy: Friendship Games
In this story episode, Martin appears as a member of Seborga High's sports team – the Seborga High Shadowbolts, for a while. She sits next to Princess Roman of Sunset Shimmer on the bus to Canterlot Presidential University for the Friendship Games, sharing her deafeningly loud rock music with Roman. She dances and mingles with Canterlot Presidentials' academic civilians during the welcoming party after Celestia helps lighten the tension between campuses.
Martin participates in the Friendship Games' first game, the Academic Decathlon, and she is selected as the SH Shadowbolts' six remaining competitors after reaching the penultimate spelling bee contest. She is later paired with Zaynab in the archery portion of the Tri-Cross Relay, hitting a bull's-eye through blind luck.
Before the games' final event, Martin and her team join Mrs. Keith in pressuring Roman into releasing the magic contained in her pendant-like device, intending to use it against Canterlot Presidentials. They all watch in horror as the magic instead transforms Roman into Nightmare Moon, who begins tearing open the Petrovburg-Equestria alternative rifts. Having a change of heart, Martin helps Benjamin pull Tobias and Lia from falling through a giant rift in the ground.
After Luna and Roman return to normal, Martin and her team getting angry with Mrs. Keith – that provoking Luna's heroic action by a threat that she will report to Princess Aulia. They celebrate their shared victory with the Canterlot Presidential Wondercolts. She returns to her friendly attitude after Mrs. Keith intervenes with Princess Finlandia and chats with DJ Una before the Seborga High students leave.
By the end of the story, Martin has been informed that Luna decides to forego his independent study application by Mrs. Keith. To do so, Martin decides to resign from Seborga High and join Canterlot Presidentials to learn about the magic of friendship, which she personally commends Luna for his bravery in fighting against Roman. In the last segment, Sergey appears out of the portal in response to President Diana, stunned to see the Petrovburg Heroes joined by a girl who looks like her. Martin only nervously waves "hello" to Lord Twilight Sparkle.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Legend of Everfree
Martin appears as the secondary central character, serving as moral support for Luna. At Camp Everfree, she is paired up with Luna in the Sapphire Tent. While at the camp, Martin's magic undergoes a dramatic change, and she develops the ability to sense others' thoughts, memories, and feelings through physical touch.
Throughout the episode, Martin helps Luna come to grips with the dark magic of Princess Aulia inside him, and she guides all of her friends in embracing their new magical abilities. She also helps Pavel medicate Luna, and they start over just as friends after the romantic relationship between Pavel and Princess Roman bitter breakup.
When Martin discovers strange goings-on behind the scenes at Camp Everfree, she initially suspects camp counselor – Diana. However, she later discovers that was Diana's sister – Ethan. By helping Luna overcome his fear of Princess Aulia and Nightmare Moon, Martin proves integral of the Huszar Guardians in defeating Ethan who is contaminated by Aulia's curse magic. She and the Petrovburg Heroes also take part in saving Camp Everfree from closing down with a Huszar Ball fundraiser.
Dance of the Equestria Flares
In this story episode of the Equestria Flares edition, Martin helps her friends of Friheten Seven raise money to renovate Camp Everfree by participating in a car wash and later the "Chance to France" Music Video contest. Martin accidentally tears Jason's jacket during rehearsal by her high heels, and later takes part in the Dance Flares music video, winning the contest.
Miracle Movie Flares
In this story episode of the Equestria Flares edition, Martin accompanies her Friheten friends to the set of the Italy Hospodines movie, expressing an interest in seeing the Italy-based movie sets. She is also briefly mistaken for an actress in the Battle of Honfoglalás movie, cast as Princess Megumi of Hungary. In the end, she helps expose Jerry Starlight's thievery and deception, and she is cast as an extra in the Italy Hospodines film.
Magical Mirror Flares
In this story episode of the Equestria Flares edition, Martin expresses considerable worry about the next magic-related problem that she and the Petrovburg Heroes will have to face. During a brief visit back to the Petrovburg Embassy at Equestria by the call of President Diana to get a replacement magic journal book from him, she befriends Susanti and brings her back with her to Canterlot Presidentials. With Susanti's advice with some Turkish accents, Martin learns to stop worrying too much about the future and instead live in that moment.
Martin also contends with a revenge-hungry Jerry Starlight when she traps her and her friends in brambles with an Aulia-enchanted mirror. After Susanti convinces Jerry to set them free, Martin and the rest of her friends forgive and accept Jerry as a new friend.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Summertime Short Stories
Martin and her boyfriend – Luna, are the focus of the Monday Blues segment in which she and Luna walk to the presidential university in the pouring rain. In the Pet Project segment, Martin feels left out when Luna and the rest of the Petrovburg Heroes have a photo shoot for their pets, so she adopts a pet leopard gecko and names it Rarity. In The Art of Friendship segment, she helps Celestia find inspiration on what to paint. The Get the Show on the Road title card background text includes "MRTN HDYT" text horizontally flipped. In the short itself, she helps restore the Friheten Rainbooms' tour bus.
In the Rarity Fails segment, Martin recalls her most embarrassing moment of chewing on a plant while trying to warn Tobias about a piece of lettuce stuck in her teeth. In the Good Vibes segment, Martin works at a Japanese-theme restaurant – Daebak Resto, in the Petrovburg Plaza. Jason gives her a new pair of flat shoes after her sandal strap breaks, and she later offers some lunch to a depressed Lord Twilight Sparkle. She is also the main focus in the beach short segments; X Marks the Spot, where she follows a treasure map to Jozef's sushi truck, and the Unsolved Selfie Mysteries, where she investigates a mysterious black splotch in the background of a selfie. In the King of Clubs, she appears as a member of the presidential fencing club. Martin does not appear in this story episode, however is mentioned by Roman. She briefly appears in the picture on Roman's cellphone when she was gratefully welcomed to Canterlot Presidentials by the Petrovburg Heroes after the Friendship Games.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Rollercoaster of Friendship
In this episode, Martin and her friends visit the Wilhelmshaven National Park at Little Pariaman, where the V-Rainbooms get booked as the centerpiece for Mrs. Dustin's light parade. She and Luna spend much of their time at Flim and Flam's rigged ring toss game. Later, she and most of her friends are teleported into a small room by Dustin's enchanted phone after they oppose her ideas to radically change the band's image. They initially believe they are inside the phone, leaving Martin incensed when they discover otherwise. After escaping, they work together to defeat Dustin, frustrating Aulia's knavish-proposed vision, and take their place as the parade's centerpiece.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Spring Breakdown
Martin goes on a sea cruise with her friends for spring break, but she is forced to deal with Jason's obsessive quest to find Aulia's curse magic. When Jason goes missing, Martin heads out on a lifeboat with Luna to find him. After they find him stuck in quicksand on a desert island, Martin and her two boys discover a portal to the Petrovburg Embassy in Equestria, where they all turn into ponies. With the help of Sergey, Martin and all of the Petrovburg Heroes borrow the Staff of Sachsen to quell a magic lightning storm created from Storm King's magic. When the KLM cruise ship sinks, the Frihetens use their powers to evacuate the passengers to the island, and Martin brings everyone through the portal to return home.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Roman Backstage Pass
Martin serves as the main focus of the story about the Roman backstage pass, in which she and Celestia are excited to see their favorite band – PostCrush, at the Sweyn Forkbeard's Music Festival in the district of Little Pariaman. After Celestia's antics ruin her chance to see PostCrush, Martin gets trapped in a time loop as a consequence applied by Princess Aulia through her curse magic, causing her to relive the first day of the festival over and over. With Luna's help, Martin traces the cause of the time loop to an artifact called Time Twirler (as it explained by Sergey the Twilight Sparkle), which Roman Lollipop and Kyle Fegelein of the PostCrush use to repeat the day until their concert is perfect. Martin angrily demands Roman and Kyle for Time Twirler in Luna's command, shows the picture of Luna, and claims that he is her husband. She and Celestia ultimately destroy Time Twirler and succeed in breaking the time loop.
By the end of the story, she gladly thanks Luna by pinching his cheek in commending her bravery against the PostCrush. Martin gladly says "Amen" in accepting Luna as her husband as Celestia suggests the marriage in hope that she will be a pious mother. The story ends when she laughs together with Celestia and Luna.

In the Blizzard or Bust segment, Martin and the Petrovburg Heroes attempt to fool Princess Finlandia and Principal Tony into declaring a snow day after finding they are too tired to take a test. In the Saving Celestial Pie segment, she takes part in a snowball fight to help Celestia get her soufflé to Tobias. In the Winter Break In segment, she leaves her storage space key in her locker at the campus and suggests an elaborate heist to retrieve it. In the Dashing Through the Plaza segment, as part of a Secret Santa-like gift exchange, Martin gives a gift to Luna (a mini statue of Twilight Giant from the Clash of Clans series) and receives one from Celestia (the CD game Vincent and Nadhiya played in the Game Stream segment). In the Go for the KNVB Feast segment, she is roped into taking an embarrassing costume picture with her friends after a misunderstanding with Dennis.
Petrovburg Heroes' Holiday Specials
Martin is the main focus during this Holy Ramadan-special story. She has no one close to being with during the holidays. Her friends cheer her up with a series of slumber parties. In the wake of this, an online persona named "DN Aidit" starts making disparaging posts and comments about Canterlot Presidential civilians on social media, and Martin is the prime suspect. Through Luna's advice, Martin convinces the Petrovburg Heroes that she isn't "DN Aidit". Later, when "DN Aidit" is revealed to be the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Martin forgives them for their misguided actions.

Canterlot Presidential Tales
Martin is the main focus of her sleepover story. This presidential tale depicts a new outfit and sight of her. At the beginning of the tale, after meeting Luna – her dear boyfriend who knows a lot about friendship, Martin is rather nervous about how little she actually knows about friendship. She gets some "friendship advice" from Zaynab, Husniati, and Cecil Lulamoon, but it is not exactly helpful.

A loyal friend with a good heart, Martin is always looking out for what’s best for the Petrovburg Heroes. Unlike her former companion girl – Princess Roman, she used to made some mistakes in the past, but now she wants to prove to everyone in Canterlot Presidentials so that they can trust her.
LMB Legend of Everfree
Martin likes to do things her own way even though she is fully integrated into the Petrovburg Heroes group. She has yet to learn about the magic of friendship, Luna can spare his time to lecture her, and the rest of the Friheten friends consider her to be one of them.
Daily outfits
Since the Equestria Flares story episode, Martin has a first daily outfit, consisting of a Lemon Zest jersey (elementally colored in green), a long yellow skirt, and yellow schoolgirl shoes. She also wears an orange gown that resembles the Netherlands football jersey as the definitive daily outfit (consists of her cutie mark of citrus rays colored in dark orange, a Dutch-tricolored belt, and white arms and collars) and a pair of Rebecca black flatshoes. Her special outfit is Princess Megumi of Hungary (as seen in the Miracle Movie Flares and Lullaby of Bohemia story episodes) in which Megumi is one of the Hungarian female given names that means "bless" and "grace".
Personality
Martin was born with the initial name Martin Larasati Jr. in which was given by a Lemon Zest queen (the mother of hers) named Martin Larasati. To avoid confusion about each other, the queen decides to change her daughter's surname with "Heldayeti" instead. Since of her childhood, Martin has proudly been nicknamed "princess" – who knows that she will be a formidable mother in the future as the queen was.
When she was a student of Seborga High School, Martin is fiercely competitive and obsessed with proving her superiority for Canterlot Presidential University through any means necessary. Despite this, she happily socializes with the Canterlot Presidential civilians. And she later helps save several students from both campuses when Nightmare Moon's rampage puts them in danger. Since the Legend of Everfree story episode, Martin is ready to lose her love for France in which she is no longer the Seborga High student and proudly accepted as the Canterlot Presidential student.
In The Art of Friendship segment, Martin has a fondness for sunflowers that she expresses through her painting in art class. Her artistic side is further shown in such segments: Display of Affection and Huszar Squad Goals. The segment A Fine Line shows that she likes to play video games (similar to Henry Nadhiya), and she is excited to get the new game Tirek's Revenge.
In the LMB Holiday Special stories, Martin displays a forgiving and compassionate side when she forgives the Cutie Mark Crusaders for framing her as the rumormonger named DN Aidit.
