Sergius Aluna Norgesic, known by his title Sergey the Twilight Sparkle (nickname: either Sergey or Sci-Twi), is a male character in the Luna the Miracle Boy series. He is also known as Sergey of Norway's Twilight – which it derives from the fullname, whose cutie mark comprises of a big magenta six-pointed star and five silver stars.
Similar to the pony counterpart with the same name from the My Little Pony series, Sergey is the chairman of the Petrovburg Heroes and the vice principal of Canterlot Presidential University. As well as the male counterpart to Princess Dusk Shine, younger son of President Diana and First Lady Camilla, and the young brother of Principal Tony.

Luna the Miracle Boy
In the distance from Vernadia District that Luna travels to, Sergey appears as the vice principal of Canterlot Presidentials. After the presidential civilians fix up the auditorium for the Miracle Contest, Sergey walks with Principal Tony, which he holds the ballot box. In declaring Luna the winner of the electoral votes on the Miracle Contest, Sergey commends him and gives him a moon sphere. Sergey is last seen in the story as he regenerates the moon sphere (which it previously smashed by Roman) as he appreciates Luna for his heroic effort with the help of Spike.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Rainbow Rocks
After Princess Aulia convinces Cecil to trap Luna and his personnel of the Friheten Rainbooms under the President's Musical Showcase stage, Spike informs him about Aulia's savage trick. As she leaves, Sergey joins DJ Una to rescue the Petrovburg Heroes and revenge on Princess Aulia. He explains that DJ Una has been wearing the headphones, which makes him immune to the Dazzlings' spell. With the Dazzlings on stage, he and DJ Una arrive with their Rockin' Convertible, converting it into a DJ station to provide music and speakers for the Friheten Rainbooms to defeat the Dazzlings and to strip Aulia's reputation. As the story ends, he and DJ Una are seen sitting behind a DJ booth on the stage as Luna writes to President Diana.
Rainbow Rocks animated short stories
In the Sirbistan Night Fever segment, Sergey appears at the Sirbistan Partizan Carnival in Canterlot Presidential University and watches the Friheten Rainbooms' concert. He also performs with the Friheten Rainbooms in Friendship Through the Ages segment.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Friendship Games
After the CPU Rally Song, Sergey sends Tony to task Luna with making sure the evil magic stays out of the Friendship Games in the hope lest Canterlot Presidentials get accused of cheating. He later tells Jason that the Petrovburg Heroes are supposed to keep magic out of this Friendship Games during the rehearsal.
When Luna talks with Principal Keith and the students of Seborga High, Sergey assures the rest of the Petrovburg Heroes that Luna has his own problems to deal with and eventually agrees to help Luna that he is the only one needed to defeat Seborga High. He also serves as the judge for the Friendship Games along with Finlandia, Tony, First Lady Camilla, and Principal Keith.
In his response about President Diana that does not appear during this story episode, where he explains that Diana did not respond to Luna's letters because he was dealing with a time travel loop during the diplomatic tour to Equestria. Sergey calls it the "strangest thing that ever happened to him". He then notices Luna's dear girlfriend and demotes it to be the second strangest. Martin only sheepishly waves her hand at him.

LMB Friendship Games animated short stories
In the Photo Finished segment, Sergey tasks Joko Sikumbang with taking presidential academic civilians' photos for the Canterlot presidential yearbook. He later learns that Joko has been forceful with her photography, but he is impressed by the resulting pictures.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Legend of Everfree
Sergey is only mentioned throughout the story. One of them is when Luna hopes that Sergey will be present by his side which he mentions him as just "Twilight" during The Midnight in Me song.
Magical Mirror Flares
In this segment of the Equestria Flares edition, Sergey briefly appears at Petrovburg Plaza during Jerry Starlight's attacks.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Summertime Short Stories
Sergey makes minor/cameo appearances in the short stories: Raise This Roof, Steps of Pep, and Monday Blues. In the Good Vibes segment, he plays a central role by doing a good deed for Cecil and starting a chain reaction that spreads positive vibes to other people at Petrovburg Plaza, ending with Martin doing a good deed for him and his fellow group members.

Sergey makes supporting or minor appearances in the King of Clubs, Vernadsky-Ermenistan Diplomacy, My Little Shop of Horrors, Duel of the Two Princes, Outtakes, and Sergey's Lullaby segments.
In the Petrovburg's Pre-Show and Petrovburg's Victory Lap segments, he and Vincent host and film the beginning and the end of the first annual Petrovburg Pet Show in Canterlot Presidentials. In the Schedule Swap segment, he briefly appears eating in the presidential cafeteria. In the Vernadsky Under the Stars segment, he attends the Vernadsky Celestial Socialization at the Vernadsky Research Base and is briefly seen talking with Martin and Diana. In the I'm on a Yacht segment, Sergey makes a cameo appearance as King Harold of Norway in attending the pool party on the KLM cruise ship and assisting the Petrovburg Heroes in their music video. In the Five Lines You Need to Stand In segment, he appears at the Sweyn Forkbeard's Music Festival standing in the security line talking to Martin. He later appears in the lines for a food truck and a photo booth. In the Cheer You On segment, he and the Twilight Union Band perform at Canterlot Presidentials in attending the International Heroes' Day commemorative festival (properly November Tenth Festival). When Rostov JK-1 goes on a rampage, Sergey cheers on the community members as they fight for Petrovburg, and recovers Luna's geode necklace after he drops it.
In the Best Trends Forever segment, he hosts the weather segment of the CPU news, which he calls "Weather in a Flash". In the Stressed in Show segment, Luna mentions having to run lines with Sergey for the presidential play, and Sergey himself makes a background appearance in All the World's Off Stage. In the Tobias' Investigates: The Case of the Bedazzled Boot segment and the Opening Night segment, he plays the role of Duke of Schwerin in the presidential play. In the Happily Ever After Party segment, he appears during the presidential play's curtain call and attends the after-party in the Tobias' and Jason's endings. In the Dennis' ending, he appears in a video slide being played at the party.
In the Costume Conundrum segment, Sergey hosts a costume party at his house. He appears in an ancient Roman soldier costume in Martin's and Dennis' endings, and has a speaking role in the latter, getting scared by the Fluttershy monster costume, orchestrated by Polina. He is also a possible ending in the music festival short segment The Road Less Scheduled.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Forgotten Friendship
Sergey the Twilight Sparkle helps Roman to solve the mystery of the Petrovburg Heroes' memories being erased, and he eventually traces the cause to a magical artifact that Oda Nobunaga buried in the republic called Memory Sponge. At Sergey's encouragement, Roman also reconciles with Princess Finlandia.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Spring Breakdown
In this story episode, Sergey appears at the Petrovburg Embassy Office at Equestria – hanging a painting with Spike in the throne room. When Martin arrives with Luna and Jason in their pony form, he tells them stories about their adventures from Petrovburg to Equestria. He also lends them the Staff of Sachsen to quell a magic lightning storm after some of Aulia's curse magic leaks into the republic. At the end of the story, Sergey appears again when Martin and Luna bring the stranded cruise passengers back to the Embassy Office.
Luna the Miracle Boy: Roman Backstage Pass
In this story episode, Sergey appears and explaining to Martin from the journal about Time Twirler.

In the Saving Celestial Pie segment, Sergey is recruited by Martin to help her and Celestia get through a snowball war. Despite his excitement at finally being part of one of their "adventures", he proves with the Twilight protection, but falling and getting hit by snowballs moments later. In the Dashing Through the Mall segment, he makes a background appearance standing in a line at Petrovburg Plaza.

Sergey has a Twilight Sparkle uniform as his original one – consisting of a pair of navy-blue trousers and a light-purple shirt with white arms and his own cutie mark in the center of it. He also has an outfit that resembles the Norway Police uniform as his definitive one – consists of a pair of dark purple trousers and a pink shirt with light-blue arms, his own initials, and a logo that resembles the Norway Football Federation's one. His summer outfit reminds him of the Taegeuk Warriors squad, whose outfit consists of a navy-blue short with a Twilight shield on a right leg portion, and a red tank top with the resemblance to the Norway football jersey.

True to his name, Sergey (Slavic language version: Sergius) is a male given name that is a common Muslim name in honor of the two historical sultans – Muhammad II of the Ottoman Empire and Sergius Radonezh of Russia. Sergey is depicted as a brave, kind-hearted, and generous boy which he is first introduced as being asocial. He is more interested in books than friends. Even after he becomes good friends with Luna and the rest of the main characters.
As the vice principal of Canterlot Presidential University, Sergey is very knowledgeable about Petrovburg, including its history, politics, and many more. He is impressed when he finds out that the Canterlot Presidential Library has a restricted section.
