I'm a librarian at the Harvard Library who started editing Wikidata because for some purposes it was easier than adding data in my native encoding language (MARC 21). I prefer tidy data and precise data models, but the perfect is the enemy of the good, so I'm trying to get over it (or at least learn when they really matter).
Currently I'm working on a project to develop tools and workflows for converting library and archival creator descriptions into Wikidata.
I've been known to run the "People that have a label in Hebrew, but their given name doesn't have a label in Hebrew" query while bored in meetings and do clean up. Someday, when I'm feeling less over committed, I might even join WikiProject Names.
