Fixed for English, German, Catalan, and Swedish. I'm not sure what to do with the French link, which is the only one that's about both the city and the princely state. - I think the french should be split or moved to another item. The sv was also an unsplit article that I split, but I think we are here to collect the info as it is and not change the article so it fit better in the items. The first page is for communications lines; the second is for power lines; and the third is for submarine lines in general. Only two 'pedias divide the uses; the rest don't. Technically there is no problem here, because the scope of each item is different. But on the Wikipedias they conflict because they are used as convenience links to the closest subject on other Wikipedias. I am therefore marking this resolved, as far as Wikidata goes. There is a case for merging the communications one (more time is spent discussing it) into the general one for the sake of the 'pedias, but it's not clear how much we should mess with conceptually distinct items as a "close approximation" for Wikipedias. "Odol" a german-origin brand of mouthwash & related hygene-products, with some history. on DE (german) it's got an article, on NL (dutch) it's got a disambig, on ID (indonesian) the word is a synonym-redirect for "pasta gigi" (toothpaste; genericized from the brand-name), on WMC (commons) it's got a category i recently helped to assemble, with 2 items currently & several more due whenever DE transfers the media files to commons.

added the de & nl items to the template, this is the id one Q35855, & tangentially the jv wiki also has "Odhol" as the word for toothpaste. i don't really see a conflict with the id & jv useages as "toothpaste" (although some kind of annotation dealing with the etymologywould be nice), but i'm not sure what practice we are using for the de-article / nl-disambig? also, there's a decent chance of eventually getting more-future articles about "Odol" in various languages; it's notable enough to turn up.Lx 121 (talk) 05:23, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

Electrical engineering

The only obvious conflict is that there are two Italian articles, which appear to be about electrical engineering and electrician work? I don't know if any more subtle conflicts exist, such that electrical engineering and electrician work would need proper sorting.

Q43035 seems to be alright to me. In Q3798664 I think af:Elektroniese ingenieurswese is a wrong entry and should be moved to the first one. enwiki has a page for en:Luigi (name) that links to it:Luigi, but it:Luigi links to en:Louis and other variations of the name (e.g. nl:Lodewijk). So the "edit links" on it:Luigi links to Q210593 but those are not the same links on the itwiki page which still has the local links to en:Louis that I'd rather not change on my own w/o discussion. I think Wikidata has it right. You didn't include item Q4245067 (en:Luigi (name)), so I added it above. Clearly it:Luigi for example should link to en:Luigi (name) rather than en:Louis, etc. Without coordination between local users in checking/removing local links, and Wikidata setup, ... well it'll be interesting to see if these ever work themselves out. The items for given names should be mostly consistent with the handling of first names at Wikidata. Cyrillic spellings may need to be moved to new items (but this is true for many such items). For disambiguation pages, an automated cleanup is suggested.
