Motivation

- It seems the database is only accessible by either a paid plan (https://www.gamersglobal.de/abo-info) oder for registered member who volunteers to reach a certain level, then choose a rank/job and work even more? - Support I can't actually view this resource, but I'll trust Matthias that it's useful. We already have properties for games and series from GamersGlobal. Even without access to the genre page themselves, having the genres mapped on Wikidata is still very helpful considering I can see genres on game pages. As an example, Call of Duty - Advanced Warfare has the genres Action (GamersGlobal genre -> 2) and Egoshooter (GamersGlobal genre ID -> 11503, which is stated to be first-person shooter (Q185029) in this proposal.). --Lewis Hulbert (talk) 20:02, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
