Star Lift

Star Lifts are objects which first appear in New Super Mario Bros. U and return in New Super Luigi U and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.

Description

Star Lifts are star-shaped platforms appearing in either one of two sizes. They spin a certain direction, depending on which side the player is weighing down on. Star Lifts produce glockenspiel noises while spinning.

In Super Mario series

They appear only throughout Spinning-Star Sky in New Super Mario Bros. U and in Broozers and Barrels in New Super Luigi U, also showing them to be spun by a Broozer's punches.
