History
Origin
Ardina was created magically by stabbing Silver Surfer with a ritually prepared dagger in order to create a female counterpart for him. This was done as part of a plan to restore Surfer, Namor, Doctor Strange, and Hulk to sanity.[1]
Defenders
The Defenders were banished to a far off land but were rescued by Christopher Ganyrog and Pamela. They were informed by their rescuers that they were on the planet Yann, and it was Yandroth who was manipulating the The Order.[2]
As most of the heroes of Earth battled the Order, the Defenders and the Warriors of Yann joined the fight. After Yandroth's manipulations were revealed, the Order broke the mind control and helped the other heroes take down the threat. The people of Yann returned the creature to their world, and Papa Hagg invited the female Defenders to a spa two dimensions over, which they accepted.[3]
After Civil War
After the Civil War, Ardina was considered by Tony Stark as a potential recruit for the 50-State Initiative.[4]Attributes

Powers
- Power Cosmic: Ardina has superhuman abilities derived from being created from the Power Cosmic. She has been seen to be able to fly and project energy and presumably possesses other abilities as well. Considering she was newborn at the time it remains uncertain how many of the Surfer's powers she has inherited and to what level she can apply them. Presumably, they will grow with experience.[5]
- Superhuman Strength: Ardina possesses incalculable levels of strength.[5]
- Invulnerability: Ardina is almost indestructible.[5]
- Energy Projection: Ardina has the potential to manipulate ambient cosmic energies and has displayed the ability to project blasts of energy.[5]
- Self Sustenance: Ardina is sustained by the Power Cosmic and needs no air, sleep, drink or food.[5]
- Flight: Ardina has the potential to fly at near-limitless speed but has yet to master this ability.[5]
