History
The cryptic mastermind known as Myrddin eventually became interested in the Missing Moment, a specific point in the timeline from which a great historical prize could be acquired. The Missing Moment could not simply be accessed from time-travel technology, but unlocked through tribulation events. However, only heroes could meet such events. As such, Myrddin created his own superheroes to do his work for him, technologically forging their body and soul for his cause. His second creation was Bedivere, who emerged from the Cauldron of Rebirth after Artur. As one of the first knights of Myrddin, Bedivere did not have special physical attributes, but was gifted with brilliant intelligence. He created an state-of-the-art armor based in technology derived from the Technarchy.[1]
As other knights were engineered by Myrddin, they formed the Twilight Court, in which Bedivere earned the designation of "The Engineer". Myrddin directed the Twilight Court to hunt down a rival of his who also looked for the Missing Moment, Kang the Conqueror. While running away, Kang was intercepted by Bedivere and Bercilak on the Death Moon. During their fight, Kang impaled Bedivere with the Ebony Blade. However, he could slay Bedivere, Kang was teleported away by Bercilak. The Twilight Court later regrouped to judge Kang, when their master Myrddin mortally wounded him, forcing him to retreat to the Null-Time Zone.[1]
He went with the rest of the Court to the Impossible City, where the Avengers were holding Kang. They battled the Scarlet Witch and Vision, the only members not trapped in a dream by Nightmare.[2]Attributes

Notes
- Bedivere is named after Sir Bedwyr, similarly to other members of the Twilight Court being named after characters of Arthurian mythology, especially the Knights of the Round Table.
- Being designated as "The Engineer", Bedivere seems to mirror Iron Man of the Avengers in terms of his hero identity.
