History
The Dunwich Catacombs were a place where, for centuries, the "most undesirable %#€holes" were buried, without names, services, last rites, headstones, etc.
After their defeat at the hands of Valkyrie, the Avengers and their allies, and the foiling of their Final Sleeper plot, Sin and Crossbones regrouped in the Dunwich Catacombs, where Daimon Hellstrom and the Wraithwitch had gathered the D.O.A. with new recruits, leaving the legacy of Thule, Hydra and A.I.M. behind them.[1]Notes
- The Dunwich Catacombs are undisclosed, though they are likely a reference to the Dunwich town from H.P. Lovecraf's Cthulhu Mythos, and will be considered set in Marvel's Dunwich (which is set in California) until further notice.
