In this reality, the Dire Wraiths burrow into their victim's skull and control them. They can't be detected by most means, only by a small scar under the hairline of their victim. While the Spaceknights still fight them (with allies like Moondragon, Gladiator, and Professor X), they can't separate them from the hosts without killing the host.
