After Gabe was forced to become a Ghost Racer, Robbie intervened before turning his fellow Spirits of Ignition against Zadkiel and Arcade. Eli consumed Zadkiel's soul, while Alejandra ripped out Arcade's eyes before the Ghost Racers all escaped through a portal.
