History
Goebig was raised by his fathers on the peaceful planet Resillia. The Resillians were engineers capable of interstellar travel, and Goebig's fathers helped him construct his own vessel, the New Resillia, before he set off to travel the stars.[2] When his planet was attacked by the Annihilation Wave without warning, everyone was killed and the planet was left in ruins. Since that time, Goebig has wandered the universe alone searching for more of his people.[3][4]
When Agatha Harkness multiplated Wiccan's powers to cast a spell to alter reality, Goebig was pulled from his life to be partnered with Hulkling.[5]
After the spell was broken, Goebig was returned to his life but with full knowledge of and love for Hulkling.[6][4] As a memorial to his people, Goebig wanted to seek out and share their collective knowledge housed in a device called the Knowledge Grid. Because he was hindered by King Arasmer and his Royal Guard, Goebig sought out the aid of Hulkling and Wiccan.[7]
Goebig eventually joined the Light Brigade under the leadership of General Xavin.[8]Personality
