Synopsis for "Bad Company"
Continued from last issue...
The New Mutants are about to be blown up by the guard's ship when Spyder comes in and stops the guards so they don't blow up Gosamyr. The New Mutants' ship is able to land, but Dani runs off as she blames herself for causing the issue in the first place, getting into a fight with the locals while the others fight amongst themselves thanks to Gosamyr's influence. Warlock explains to Illyana that on Gosamyr's world, and Gosamyr loosely explains this to Dani and Rahne, that Gosamyr's females rule dominantly over the males and exert their control over them to make them fight. This makes Illyana attack Gosamyr, striking out an image of a giant monster and snapping everyone except for Roberto out of the stupors Gosamyr put them into. Gosamyr feels bad about what she's done, not knowing that what she's doing is wrong, but the New Mutants agree to help Lila and Gosamyr's family anyways. However, as they break into Spyder's base by hand, since Illyana refuses to use Limbo due to its techno-organic corruption, Spyder captures all the New Mutants.
