History

Phough was the leader of the Troll Associates.

After failing to capture Alchemy due to the interference of X-Factor, he sent them into hiding for a few years, before re-emerging and kidnapping Alchemy's mother Ophelia. He then captured Alchemy and used him to create them vast amounts of gold, and turn their enemies into gold as well. He managed to capture both Excalibur and the X-Men with enchanted chains, but Nightcrawler convinced him that he was on their side, letting him go and fight two of his teammates, Feron and Cerise. After pretending to fight them, Nightcrawler challenged Phough to single combat, and when Phough tried to cheat, Alchemy turned him to gold and undid the transformations of the other heroes.
