History
The Retaliator was a huge metallic sabot encased in a firing station the size of a small moon, designed to fire at and around a black hole in order to slingshot it on a collision course to destroy Earth to prevent the fulfillment of the prophesied destruction of Breakworld by the Worldbreaker, Colossus. It was activated to fire at Earth by Powerlord Kruun prior to the X-Men's arrival on Breakworld.[2]
