History
Little is known about SHIELD's history. What is known is that it consists of people recruited from the world's best universities. One day, SHIELD agents found Alice Farrell after she lost her limbs from a bomb explosion. The organization replaced her lost limbs with cybernetic ones and augmented her further with gamma rays, transforming her into She-Hulk. Farrell was made a SHIELD agent and used in its recruitment initiative.[1]
