Shu (Ennead) (Earth-616)

History

After the death of his Ogdoad creations, Ra (Atum) sired a new generation of gods, including[1] Shu and her twin sister Tefnut, sired without a female mate.[2]

When Ra left his spawn to live in the Sun, Shu took his place and became the god of air. Tefnut ruled by his side, as the goddess of the rain. They sired the fourth generation of gods, Geb and Nut, respectively god of the earth and goddess of the heavens, who succeeded them when,[1] Other statement mentions those changes of rule due to the age and infirmity of the precedent generation.[2]
