History
T'Challa's history roughly followed that of his Earth-199999 counterpart until Janet Van Dyne was infected by a virus from the Quantum Realm, Janet infected her husband Hank Pym when he tried to take her out of the Quantum Realm which resulted in the spread of the virus around the world.
T'Challa joined the Avengers to fight the zombie infection, but they were attacked and infected by the zombies. However, T'Challa escaped being infected until he was found by Vision who thought he came to save him but was only to use him as food for a zombified Wanda. Two weeks later, the survivors who were the Avengers' allies went to Camp Lehigh as they received a signal from Vision about a cure, T'Challa was found by Bucky and told him to watch out for Wanda and that they had to leave the camp due to Vision's actions. Wanda went on a rampage and killed Okoye and Kurt but was stopped by Vision momentarily for the others to escape before removing the Mind Gem, T'Challa along with Spider-Man, Scott Lang and the Cloak of Levitation were on a Quadjet from the base heading to Wakanda while Bruce Banner transformed into the Hulk stops Wanda and the Zombies.
While heading to Wakanda, T'Challa encouraged Peter that people they love are still with them and that death is not the end as long as they remember them, unbeknownst to him, a Zombie Thanos had already invaded Wakanda and they were bringing the missing gem to him.[1]Attributes

- The late Chadwick Boseman provided the voice of Black Panther in the What If...? episode "What If... Zombies!?". After Boseman's death on August 28, 2020, his voice acting contributions to What If...? turned out to be his final role.

- T'Challa serving as food is a reference to the Marvel Zombies Comics in which T'Challa was food for a Zombified Hank Pym.
