Synopsis for "The Vengeance of Loki"
Thor flies to Asgard, only to have his entrance barred by Heimdall, who tells him that his father Odin still has not lifted his banishment from Asgard. After leaving, Heimdall sheds a tear for his friends plight, which Loki uses to free himself from his imprisonment in Yggdrasil. Going to Midgard, Loki begins horrible mischief like removing one nurses skin, and causing Jane Foster's mouth to disappear. When Don Blake arrives, Loki casts a spell on him to cause beetles to begin burrowing out of his skin, but nothing happenes. Shocked, Loki pauses long enough for Blake to change into Thor, and begins chasing Loki through New York. Loki causes wrecks and catastrophies everywhere he goes, until finally Thor stops him. Loki tells him that the mortals recognize their godliness, and would worship them if only they asked for it. Jane Foster is very impressed by Thor, and he recognizes the truth (for once) in Loki's words. And while Thor is distracted, Loki makes his escape.
