Fremont was in the group of the FBI agents, led by Ray Nadeem to track down and apprehend Matt Murdock, who reportedly worked for Wilson Fisk. The agents raided Murdock's apartment, and although Murdock was absent, Nadeem found an evidence that he was at the apartment. Fremont was then ordered to bring Karen Page for questioning, and he approached her on the street, informing Page that she must go with them. Page told the agents about her weapon and a concealed carry permit, so Fremont removed it and escorted her to Murdock's apartment. Fremont then joined Johnson and other fellow agents and helped them to examine apartment while Nadeem asked Page questions about Murdock.[1]
