Penelope and Paxton Page lived in Fagan Corners, Vermont, where they raised their two children, Karen and Kevin. While Page and her husband were religious people,[2] their daughter didn't follow these values. According to Karen, Penelope hated Fagan Corners but stuck around due to her love for Paxton. She kept buying lottery tickets, hoping to win enough money to get herself and her family out of the town. Penelope would later died of cancer, while Paxton held on to the family diner, Penny's Place, as it was his only memory of his wife.[1]
