Thanos' Armor is a battle suit that was used by Thanos while invading planets in his quest to kill half of the universe.
History
Thanos' Conquests
Massacre of the Zehoberei
While invading Gamora's home planet, Zen-Whoberi, Thanos wore the armor to protect himself on the battlefield.[1]
Quest for the Tesseract
In 2012, Thanos wore the armor in the Sanctuary when he was met by the Other, who informed him of Loki’s failures in obtaining the Space Stone.[2]
Quest for the Orb
In 2014, Thanos wore the armor in the Sanctuary when he was visited by Ronan the Accuser and Nebula, who were sent to retrieve the Power Stone for him.[3]
Obtaining the Infinity Gauntlet
Sometime later, Thanos wore the armor when he travelled to Nidavellir to have the Infinity Gauntlet forged.[4]
Attack on the Statesman
In 2018, Thanos wore the armor when he and the Black Order attacked the Statesman and as he fought Thor and Hulk. However, after acquiring the Space Stone, Thanos removed his armor.[1]
Retirement
After completing the Snap, Thanos placed his armor as a makeshift scarecrow near his farm on Planet 0259-S.[5]
Alternate Universe Versions
Battle of Earth
In an alternate 2014 timeline, an alternate Thanos, still utilizing his armor, learned of the main universe and used his universe's Nebula to get him through the Quantum Realm to get there.
Once on the ruins of the Avengers Compound, Thanos removed his helmet briefly as he sat down. He put his helmet back on once he was confronted by Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, and Thor, but it was destroyed when Rogers struck him with Mjølnir.
Thanos kept the rest of his armor on during the battle, although it sustained heavy damage when Wanda Maximoff used her powers to remove chunks of it as she tried to kill him. After Stark used the Infinity Stones, what was left of the armor disintegrated.[5]

Capabilities
Thanos' armor was created from a strong metal. It is exceptionally durable, being able to even withstand extremely powerful blows from the Hulk.[1] However, it does have its limits, as Wanda Maximoff was able to badly damage it using her powers and it was destroyed along with its wearer by the Infinity Stones.[5]
