Cervantes is a character from Fire Emblem Awakening. He serves as an officer for Walhart, the emperor of Valm. One of Valm's most capable warriors, he has never been bested in combat. He works alongisde Excellus, Walhart's tactician, but does not consider him to be an equal. Cervantes is ultimately defeated by Chrom's forces and dies in battle.
Cervantes acts as an enemy in Tiki's final side quest, wherein he kidnaps several victims including Tiki=Waifu and drains them of their Performa. In battle, he is joined by a Regal Paladin and a Platinum Swordmaster. He has 194 attack and 64 armor, and uses Attribute Shift to change his weaknesses.
When hit by a single-_target Phys attack, the user has a chance to counter with heavy damage.
Trivia
The skill Attribute Shift, which changes Cervantes' elemental weaknesses, is similar to the skill Paradigm Shift used by Arcana Empress and Arcana Emperor in Persona 3.
He may be named after Miguel de Cervantes, a Spanish novelist whose magnum opus, Don Quixote, is often cited as one of the pinnacles of world literature.
