The crane machine is a minor activity in the Persona series.
Profile
Persona 3 FES / Portable / Reload
Both the male and female protagonist can play a crane game at Game Panic in Paulownia Mall for ¥200 which can be used as gifts to other Social Links.
The odds of winning a prize is completely random. Some requests require the protagonist to obtain a Jack Frost Doll or a Ganesha Bank found in the crane machine.
Prize | Description |
---|---|
Jack Frost Doll | Adorable character. |
Ganesha Bank | Piggy bank shaped like a deity. |
Persona 4 Golden
The protagonist can play a crane game at any time and time won't pass, but he may only make five attempts per day. He is able to obtain several dolls from playing outside the Movie Theater in Okina City, which can then be used to decorate his room. The showcased doll changes on specific dates, so it is possible to miss certain dolls.
Days that end with 0, 2 and 6 allow the protagonist to play twice per attempt. Days that end with 30 are miracle days that boost his chances of getting a prize.
Every doll is based on Personas he can summon. All dolls are mainly associated with the Jack Frost family (with the exception of Neko Shogun).
Grand Prize | Date Available |
---|---|
Jack Frost Doll | June 11 |
Pyro Jack Doll | July 27 |
Neko Shogun Doll | September 12 |
King Frost Doll | November 6 |
Black Frost Doll | January 1 |
Persona 5 / Royal
The protagonist can play a crane game at any time, as many times as desired, and time won't pass at the Gigolo Arcade found in Akihabara. He is able to obtain several dolls from playing, which can then be used to decorate his attic in Café Leblanc. Attempting to play once costs ¥300.
The odds of winning a prize depends on the protagonist's Proficiency stat. Additionally, on the 7th, 17th and 27th days of each month, the arm will be strengthened (a poster will be attached in these cases.)[1][2]
The dolls need to be obtained in order, before being able to retrieve the next one in the queue.[1][2] After obtaining a doll, a new doll will show up next week. Aside from having an expanded collection of dolls in Persona 5 Royal, the initial dates the dolls are stocked differ between the 2 games:

---|---|
Jack Frost Doll | September 2nd |
Burger-kun Doll | September 19th |
Wanna-kun Doll | October 1st |
