Guiding Tendril (先導の触手, Sendō no Shokushu)? is a special Multi-hit Almighty skill. It is an accessory-only skill in Persona 5 Royal.
Effect
Only usable during an Ambush, Guiding Tendril hits all foes three times, dealing damage equal to 1% of their maximum HP per hit, and has a very high chance to become Critical. As a fixed-damage move, it is not influenced by Concentrate and does not consume its effect. The Merciless difficulty does not affect Critical damage from this skill.
Unlike normal Critical hits, a Disaster Shadow will get enraged if they are Downed by Guiding Tendril, unless they are subsequently hit with an attack they are weak against, or a Critical (including another use of Guiding Tendril) before they get up.
Additionally, it has the Passive effects of Life Aid, which are triggered when the party wins in battle.

Notes
- The skill's name references Takuto Maruki's desire to guide humanity and the tendrils used by his Persona, Azathoth.
- Azathoth's tentacles can be seen during this skill's animation.
- Despite the move's description in-game, Guiding Tendril's Downing ability is not guaranteed.
- This is the only non-Physical, non-Gun Skill in Royal that can cause Critical.
- Guiding Tendril is only accessible in New Game Plus, since Mementos and Jose, which are needed for the creation of Ring of Sorrow, are no longer available after the collapse of the final Palace.
