Persona 4 / Golden
Leading Idol appears in Chapters 7 through 9 of Void Quest within the Midnight Channel. It will summon a Platinum Dice to support it. While it is weak to Electric attacks, it severely reduces Almighty damage, rendering All-Out Attacks ineffective and allowing it to survive the Platinum Dice's Last Resort. When defeated, it may drop Trial Obsidian. Selling ten Trial Obsidians at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Yashima for Yosuke Hanamura in the shop.
In Golden it appears in Chapters 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9. It may now use Garula, Mudo, and Life Drain. It will only summon Platinum Dice if it is the only Leading Idol on the field, and will do so every time the Platinum Dice is killed. This can be used to get multiple Light Strings from one battle. It may drop Howlite for trade at Shiroku Pub. Selling six Trial Obsidians at Daidara is enough to unlock the Yashima.
