Rainy Pot appears in the 5th and 6th Chapters of the Void Quest within the Midnight Channel on rainy days. It uses Spirit Drain to absorb SP, making it difficult for the party without any means to restore SP to progress, should they encounter a group of them unprepared. It also drains all attacks but Fire (its weakness), Light/Dark, and Almighty. It is one of two Pot Shadows that only appear on rainy days (the other one being the Cloudgirl Pot). When defeated, it may drop Rare Poncho. Selling Rare Poncho at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Amakaze Happi female armor, an armor with low defense and evasion but with an effect that heightens evasion against physical attacks.
In Golden, it appears in Chapters 5 through 9. It may also drop Howlite, Milky Quartz or Bloodstone for trade at Shiroku Pub. Selling four Rare Ponchos will unlock the Amakaze Happi.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth
Rainy Pot appears in Story 2 of the Evil Spirit Club. Like the Phantom Mage, Phantom Master, and Amenti Raven, these Shadows follow a strategy of rendering the party vulnerable with Elec Corrosion before casting Mazionga to take advantage of the party's newfound weakness to Electricity. If unprepared, encountered in a group of other Rainy Pots, or if it ambushes the party and gains Enemy Advantage, they can inflict dangerous amounts of damage and leave slower teammates helpless. They rarely are knocked down and are more likely to evade Magic Binds, but have an exploitable weakness to Fire.
When defeated, it may drop Urn Piece and Urn Hair. Urn Piece is used to create the Blood Baghnakh for Akihiko and the Serpent Sword for Mitsuru. Urn Hair is used to create the Cross Dog-Suit for Koromaru.
