Steel Gigas appear in the lower half of Arqa Block in Tartarus. They are the first red Shadows the party will encounter. They will appear during normal encounters from 41F onward in Arqa. Later, they will appear on the floors of the love hotel on Shirakawa Boulevard during the July 7th Full Moon Operation.
Steel Gigas appears in the second half of the Arqa Block of Tartarus. Another variation with more HP/SP and a different moveset can appear in the first half between floors 29 and 34, appearing as a red Shadow.
