A burrito was a dish from the Mexico region on Earth. It consisted of either a flour or corn tortilla wrapped around a filling of beef, pork, or chicken and other ingredients such as rice, beans, onions, cheese, and peppers, topped with various condiments such as guacamole, sour cream, and/or salsa.

While on 20th century Earth, Lieutenant Tuvok bought his companions Tom Paris and Rain Robinson chili burritos, Goliath Gulps, and hot dogs for breakfast. Robinson likened the meal to something she would expect to eat on an afternoon at Dodger Stadium. (VOY: "Future's End, Part II")

In 2256, Michael Burnham and Cadet Tilly ordered burritos at breakfast time from the food synthesizer in the Discovery's mess hall. (DIS: "Lethe")

In 2375, Harry Kim inadvertently reversed a 1969 Mustang straight through a burrito stand on the holodeck. (VOY: "Someone to Watch Over Me")

In 2380, a male Starfleet officer was sitting at a table in the USS Cerritos' mess hall with a female Starfleet officer. He was eating a burrito and she was eating a taco. (LD: "Terminal Provocations")

In 2381, while observing Lieutenant Shaxs order a hot dog with spicy kiwi and fries, Ensign Beckett Mariner was eating a burrito. (LD: "We'll Always Have Tom Paris")

Sam Rutherford was eating a burrito with guacamole in it during the long-haul warp. He also ate a cupcake. (LD: "Wej Duj")
