David Paul Christian (born 29 March 1957; age 67) is an actor who worked as background actor on episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise.
For the VOY third season episode "Warlord", Christian filmed his scenes on Tuesday 3 September 1996 on Paramount Stage 9 and is listed as "Transporter N.D." on the call sheet. For the ENT first season episode "Cold Front", he filmed his scenes on Friday 5 October 2001, Wednesday 10 October 2001 and Friday 12 October 2001 on Paramount Stage 8 and 18. His costume from this episode was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1](X)
Besides his work on Star Trek, Christian was featured in the action sequel Best of the Best II (1993, with Meg Foster, Simon Rhee, Frank Salsedo, Patrick Kilpatrick, Nicholas Worth, Mike Genovese, Kane Hodder, Albie Selznick, Manny Perry, and Gunter Ziegler) and in episodes of Cheers (1992, episode "The Magnificent Six" with Kirstie Alley, Kelsey Grammer, Jennifer Gatti, Brian Demonbreun, Gunnel Eriksson, Susan Lewis, Don Bennett, Leland Sun, Curt Truman, Robert Cox, Tory Christopher, and Gary Hunter), Frasier, and Arliss. Between 2008 and 2012 he worked as a recurring doctor on the television series House.
Christian also filmed a scene as a CBS lawyer for the drama Good Night, and Good Luck (2005) which was later cut from the final film. The film also features Glenn Morshower, Ray Wise, Robert Knepper, Frank Langella, John Kepley, Joyce Lasley, and Bill Blair.
