Vice admiral Marcus Holt was a Starfleet flag officer and commanding officer of starbase Deep Space 3, as well as a personal friend of Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
Holt contacted Picard in 2370 concerning the disappearance of the starship USS Hera, as the ship had recently visited DS3. Picard told Holt that he would inform his chief engineer Geordi La Forge, son of Captain Silva La Forge, who was the commanding officer of the Hera. (TNG: "Interface")
Admiral Marcus Holt was played by actor Warren Munson.
