Background information

Matthew Arliss Mura was portrayed by Joseph Lee.

According to Terry Matalas, Mura has served aboard the USS Titan-A for the last three years, meaning he started serving around 2398. [1]

According to the crew roster posted by Bill Krause, Mura was assigned to alpha shift. [2]

Mura's first and middle name implies that he may have partial Human heritage, or was named after a Human. Unlike most Bajorans, for whom the family name comes before their given name, he uses his surname second rather than first, in the same style as most other species with more than one name, as his name is not Mura Matthew. Also he is the first Bajoran confirmed to have a middle name.
