Michael

"Michael" was a common Human given name. It could be shortened to "Mickey". (DIS: "Context Is for Kings")

"Michael" was not typically a female name. As of 2256, Sylvia Tilly thought she had never met a female named "Michael" before, and the only female Michael she had ever heard of was Michael Burnham, who had recently reached infamy as a mutineer. (DIS: "Context Is for Kings")

In 2368, Miles O'Brien planned on naming his first child "Michael", after his father. His wife, Keiko, wanted the child to be named "Hiro", after her father. The baby was a girl, however, and was given the name "Molly". (TNG: "Disaster")

When Benjamin Sisko showed Michael Eddington a message intercepted from the Maquis, from Rebecca Sullivan addressed to a "Michael", Eddington cut off the message mid-review falsely explaining that "It has nothing to do with me. Michael is a very common name." Sisko agreed that that was true, but felt that "somehow I think you're the right one." (DS9: "Blaze of Glory")
