Summary
- From the book jacket
- Whether you're an officer in the Federation Starfleet, a warrior of the Klingon Empire, or a member of the Borg Collective, you have a distinct identity, one that extends to the symbols of your culture, from the look of your starships to the sign outside your quarters. One glance at those symbols instantly tells everyone who you are.
- But even if you're not a member of Starfleet, even if you just wish you lived in the twenty-fourth century, this amazing collection of stickers, featuring graphics, symbols, and more from the Star Trek universe will convey your unique personality.
- With the Star Trek Sticker Book, you can decorate your folders, computers, and almost anything else you can imagine with authentic emblems and signage from Starfleet, the Klingon Empire and Romulan Empire, the Borg Collective, the Ferengi Alliance, and a host of others across the entire galaxy.
- Just remember – don't put any of the stickers on furniture, younger siblings, or tribbles.

Background information
- A similar book was previously conceived by Mike Okuda's predecessor for Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Lee Cole, in 1979 as the Star Trek: The Motion Picture Peel-Off Graphics Book.
- In an interview with Star Trek: The Magazine, Okuda noted: "In most cases [the files used in the book] are literally the same data files that we used to create the art that's on the show. In some cases we cleaned things up a little. We discovered that things weren't exactly lined up properly, but for the most part they are exactly what you saw on the show." Only a few images, such as the TOS era computer panels, had to be created from scratch. (Star Trek: The Magazine Volume 1, Issue 8, pp. 82-83)
- In selecting stickers to include, the Okuda's recognized that species' symbols and the panel labels used on the set tended to be the most popular. In promoting the book, they were surprised to find the Horga'hn to be particularly popular. (Star Trek: The Magazine Volume 1, Issue 8, p. 83)
- In choosing their favorite stickers included in the book, Mike Okuda selected the Vidiian emblem (designed by Wendy Drapanas) and Denise Okuda picked the Borg symbol. (Star Trek: The Magazine Volume 1, Issue 8, p. 83)
