Sunset Boulevard

Sunset Boulevard was an Earth film released in 1950. Described as a drama, it was among the most popular films of the 20th century.

During the mid-22nd century, it was among the 50,000 films found in the movie database aboard the Starfleet starship Enterprise.

Trip Tucker intended to show the film during movie night in 2151. Cutler invited Phlox to the movie, suggesting that he might like it. (ENT: "Dear Doctor")

Future TOS director Gerd Oswald worked as second assistant director on Sunset Boulevard.

William Holden and Gloria Swanson starred in this film. The film's synopsis, from the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 2, p. 345, was that it was about a "once-famous entertainer who dreams of an improbable return to popularity."
