The USS Bradbury was a 23rd century Federation starship operated by Starfleet.
In February 2259, this ship was in the Sol system. In that month, Spock was transferred to the USS Bradbury under Captain Frank Abbott, but his posting was short lived, ending when John Harrison murdered Abbott at the Daystrom Conference Room. (Star Trek Into Darkness)
The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 100 presumed this starship was named after the science fiction author Ray Bradbury.
