The USS Shran (NCC-1413) was a Magee-class Federation starship operated by Starfleet during the mid-23rd century.
History
The Shran participated in the Battle of the Binary Stars, where it was destroyed. (DIS: "Battle at the Binary Stars")
An illuminated display of the Shran was visible in the mess hall aboard the USS Discovery when Michael Burnham visited that area shortly after arriving aboard the Discovery six months after the battle, which remained there into the 33rd century. (DIS: "Context Is for Kings"; ST: "Calypso")

Star Trek: Discovery The Official Starships Collection issue 11 confirms this ship is named for Andorian commander Thy'lek Shran.

In 2019, Star Trek Online introduced the Shran class (β), an unlockable cosmetic skin as a 25th century successor to the 23rd century Magee class, [1] named in honor of the Magee-class USS Shran.
