A vineyard was a plantation where grapevines were grown for making wine, the non-alcoholic beverage grape juice, and the dried foodstuffs raisins.
The Picard family vineyards, located in La Barre, France, were well-known for wine production, notably for their Chateau Picard vintage. There was also some relation to Chateau La Barre. During the mid-24th century, the vineyard was overseen by Robert Picard. After Robert's death, Jean-Luc Picard took over the vineyard following his resignation from Starfleet. (TNG: "Family"; Star Trek Nemesis; Star Trek: Picard)
Brad Boimler grew up on his family vineyard in Modesto, California, which produced raisins. When he was pretending to be from Hawaii in 2381 and was reminded of this fact, Boimler claimed that it was a "pineapple" and "coffee" vineyard. (LD: "wej Duj", "Grounded")
In an alternate timeline created by Q's machinations, Jean-Luc Picard took over his family vineyard after his retirement. (TNG: "All Good Things...")
A cut scene from DS9: "Ferengi Love Songs" would have established that tulaberries were also grown on vineyards. [1]
