Belize was a nation on the east coast of Central America on Earth. It was bordered by Mexico to the north, the Caribbean Sea to the east, Guatemala to the south and west.

According to Khan Noonien Singh, in September 1992 Augment Dictator Alexander Newton annexed Belize into the North American Coalition. By 1996, Augment infighting led to Belize becoming part of Newton's New American Empire. By the end of 1996, the Augment dictatorships were overthrown. (TOS - Khan comics: "Issue 2", "Issue 3")
