Service history and disposition
In the 2370s, this ship included the royal chambers and was berthed at Unimatrix One, the Collective's central unicomplex. In the year 2375, a Borg sphere delivered the liberated Borg drone Seven of Nine to the current Borg Queen. The queen sought to reintegrate Seven into the hive mind while maintaining the Human woman's individuality. Around stardate 52619.2, the queen detached her ship from the unicomplex and rendezvoused with a Borg Cube at the homeworld of Species 10026. Seven and the queen observed the assimilation of the Species 10026 homeworld from orbit. Several members of the unassimilated culture were brought aboard. Seven helped them escape and convinced the queen to let them go.
The queen presented Seven with her assimilated father, Magnus Hansen, in another attempt to sway her.
Captain Kathryn Janeway led an away team aboard the
to the unicomplex to rescue Seven and return her to USS Voyager. Following Seven's transfer to the Delta Flyer, the queen used her vessel to pursue the Federation shuttle in a transwarp conduit. Voyager destroyed the queen's vessel by closing the conduit after the Delta Flyer emerged into normal space. (VOY episode: "Dark Frontier")
