Keiko O'Brien was a botanist aboard the USS Enterprise. When she and her family relocated to Deep Space 9 she became a teacher, but took up botany again when she temporarily lived on Bajor. (DS9 episodes: "A Man Alone", "The House of Quark", "Fascination")
