Casey Lance was a human in Starfleet in the 23rd century. They served as a security crewman aboard the USS Enterprise under Captain James T. Kirk.
Biography
In 2278, Lance was apart of Beta Team, under Lieutenant Mosi Nizhoni's command, that responded to the hostile Naazh boarding party onboard the Enterprise. During the firefight, they flanked the gold Naazh that had been facing off with Worene. They were eventually knocked down with an acrobatic kick from the Naazh. Subsequently, they were gathered up by the remaining guards and swept away for treatment, thanks to Doctor Christine Chapel and her medical team. (TOS novel: The Higher Frontier)
