Chen Tiejun was one of the genetically enhanced Human "superwomen" that were bred in the Chrysalis Project on Earth in the late 20th century. She later founded a matriarchal colony on a remote island off the coast of New Zealand.
She and her group of "Amazon warriors" were instrumental in Gary Seven's plan to destroy Khan Noonien Singh's newly-bred lethal bacteria that would destroy the Human race entirely—with the exception of the Chrysalis supermen.
