) was a 25th century Terran Empire starship, a tier 6-rated Nobel-class miracle worker research science vessel and prototype of its class, based on the 24th century Olympic-class, in Imperial Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO website: Stormfall: The Federation Responder Bundle!)

Service history and disposition

In the primary universe, Alfred Nobel was a 19th century Human engineer from Sweden on Earth. He originated the Nobel Prize. (TOS novel: Memory Prime)

In the 2400s, Starfleet operated a Hope-class science vessel named the USS Nobel, registry number NCC-90380. It operated near Starbase 39-Sierra in 2409. (STO - Romulan Mystery mission: "Project Nightingale")

Inspired by saucer separation, the ISS Nobel was capable of sphere separation. Its sphere could be deployed to serve as an immobile support base. (STO website: Stormfall: The Federation Responder Bundle!)

From the year 2411 onward, the Nobel represented the mirror universe configuration of its class on Starfleet Shipyards Operations interfaces at Federation shipyard and Khitomer Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy, including Earth Spacedock and the Jenolan Dyson Sphere. At one point, the Nobel undertook a joint mission with the
