Kemsar Colony was a Tandaran colony located on the planet 10 Tauri IV. It was established some time prior to the 2160s.
History
In September 2162, the colony was attacked by members of the Malurian crime organization Raldul alignment, who disguised themselves as Suliban in order to provoke a conflict between the Tandar sector and the newly founded United Federation of Planets.
They used fake Suliban cell ships, and attacked a crowd of people who gathered at the colony's main square for a children's sport event. They opened fire on the crowd, killing dozens of people and took several children with the intent of selling them as slaves. After the attack, a Tandaran military unit under the command of General Valk arrived at the colony to render assistance and track down the attackers. His efforts were aided by representatives of the Federation, Admiral Jonathan Archer and Lieutenant Travis Mayweather.
