Ken Rand (1946 - 2009) was a writer, and winner of the Strange New Worlds contest. He had also written Fairy BrewHaHa at the Lucky Nickel Saloon (2008), Dadgum Martians Invade the Lucky Nickel Saloon (2006), The Golems of Laramie County (2004), Phoenix (2004) and more.
